SOME WORDS...

Devilish, blasphemous, irreverent, sacrilegious, wicked, corrupting, immoral...Rock has always incarnated these qualities since its beginnings and has always chosen black as his favourite color. This guide (which was born as a book published in Italy some years ago) is a humble attempt to research and analyze the dark moods and pulsions which pervaded rock music in the last thirty years. It will be updated soon, because all of the entries you will find here are dated back to 1993. I'm sure that not even the most strong words can transmit on the written page those emotions only vinyl and music can offer. But it's like trying to freeze some frames and some feelings which belong to the past, back to a time when embracing a guitar meant to be rebels in mind and spirit. If rock never saved the world, it has for sure saved my life...It has been my "sentimental education", the way to make my approach to the world of reality...It has represented, and still represents, after twenty years, the thing that makes our existence more exciting...So, to all you rockers, headbangers, whatever...keep up the good work!
